ABOUT THIS TEA

Originating from a tea garden on the north bank of the Brahmaputra River in Assam, this wonderfully robust tea is the ideal breakfast companion.

TASTE

Full bodied and robust with creamy texture and malty undertones.

AROMA

A full aroma interspersed with sweet, raisin like and tangy notes.

INFUSION

Dark golden brown with some viscosity and perfect with milk.

Camellia’s Tea House offers both UK and international delivery, so that you can enjoy our wonderful teas anywhere in the world!

UK Deliveries – the order will be sent by 1st Class, Royal Mail service and it usually takes about 5-7 days to arrive. If you have any enquiries, please send us an email to info@camelliasteahouse.com.

International Deliveries - the orders will be sent through Tracked, Royal Mail service and we will email the tracking information once the order has been sent out. Delivery times will vary depending on which part of the world you’d like your teas to be shipped to, so please allow around 7-14 days for international deliveries.

Free shipping on all mainland UK orders over £50 – please remember to select the free shipping option at checkout!

1.1 Refund Policy

All Products are subject to availability. Where any Product turns out to be temporarily unavailable, we will provide you with a refund for this Product.

You may cancel your order at any time and for any reason within 14 working days of delivery of the Products ordered. (‘working’ days do not include Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays). Orders for certain Products may not be cancelled – these include: (a) Products that have been clearly personalised; and (b) Products that are perishable and have been opened, including all teas, infusions and food products. If you wish to cancel your order you must notify us of your wish to cancel in writing and you must return the Product(s) to us (at your expense) in their original wrapping, intact and accompanied by all accessories and documentation which were part of the delivery. We will refund any monies paid to us in respect of a cancelled order within 30 days of receiving your notice of cancellation and having received the returned goods in resaleable condition.

1.2 Notices

Where these Terms and Conditions require you to notify us of certain things in writing, notices should be sent to us by post to our address below (see the Contact Us section below) or by e-mail at info@camelliasteahouse.com. If we need to notify you of anything, we will do so by e-mail or post to the postal address you provide during the order process. Notices will be deemed received 24 hours after the e-mail is sent or three days after the date of posting.

1.3 Cancellation or Damage

If you receive a Product which is faulty or damaged please notify us immediately along with a photo of the damage using one of the methods specified in the Contact Us section and return the relevant Product to us together with a brief explanation of the fault or damage. Upon receipt of the Product, we will examine it to see if it is faulty or damaged. We may, as we think appropriate, either credit you with an appropriate sum in respect of the Product and the Royal Mail delivery charge or we shall (subject to availability) send you a replacement Product. This does not affect your statutory rights.

1.4 General

We shall not be liable for any failure to provide the web site and/or the failures or delays in delivery where this is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable, it shall so far as it is unenforceable, be deemed deleted and the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall continue to apply. The English Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from or related to this web site and all Products. English Law will apply to these terms and conditions.

Assam, a state located in Northeast India, is the largest tea growing area in the world. It is a predominantly a black tea producing region and only one of two places in the world to claim its own native tea plant. Unlike Darjeeling, most of the teas are grown at low altitude and are characterized by their malty flavour.
