We are very aware of the ethical and environmental responsibilities we have as a global tea company and we are committed to ensuring that all the teas we source come from tea gardens that share our philosophies and implement them at the garden level.

At Camellia’s Tea House, we believe that the well-being of the people behind our teas is just as important as the quality of the tea itself. We are dedicated to sourcing from gardens that uphold fair and ethical labor practices, ensuring that farmers and workers are treated with dignity and respect.
Through regular supplier audits every two years, we verify that working conditions meet or exceed local labor laws, providing fair wages and safe environments. Additionally, we prioritize sourcing Fair Trade-certified teas whenever possible, supporting small-scale producers and cooperatives to promote economic empowerment and sustainable livelihoods.

Sustainability is at the heart of our tea sourcing and blending process. We are committed to minimizing our environmental impact by working with tea gardens that implement sustainable farming practices. By sourcing from estates accredited by organizations such as the Rainforest Alliance, UTZ and Fairtrade, we help protect biodiversity, promote soil health, and reduce deforestation.
We also strive to continuously improve our environmental footprint, from responsible ingredient sourcing to exploring eco-friendly packaging solutions. Our goal is to ensure that every cup of Camellia’s tea supports a healthier planet for future generations.

At Camellia’s Tea House, we are passionate about sustainability, which is why we prioritize eco-friendly packaging or biodegradable solutions. A significant portion of our packaging is made from recyclable materials, helping to minimize waste and reduce our environmental footprint. We are continually exploring innovative and sustainable alternatives to ensure our packaging aligns with our commitment to the planet.
Beyond packaging, we also encourage our customers to adopt more sustainable purchasing habits. WE SUPPORT YES TO LIFE
Yes to Life is a leading integrative cancer charity dedicated to empowering people with cancer to make informed decisions about their care. Founded over a decade ago by Robin Daly, the charity provides evidence-based information, resources, and personal support.
Through a dedicated phone helpline and a comprehensive website, Yes to Life offers guidance, blogs, and publications on cancer care and complementary therapies. Their book, The Cancer Revolution, provides insights into integrative treatment approaches, while their radio show on UK Health Radio and cancer care podcasts feature specialists and healthcare professionals.
The charity also organizes workshops, talks, and events to connect individuals with expert knowledge and support. Their specialist directory helps people find localized complementary therapies and practitioners.
OUR PARTNERSHIP
Camellia’s Tea House, in collaboration with Yes to Life and leading scientists and therapists, has developed a range of dosaged Functional Therapy Teas in support of people living with chronic diseases such as cancer. Camellia’s Tea House has pledged to donate to Yes to Life from every cup of Therapy Tea served and bought. We are proud to help people through our partnership and hope that any donation made to Yes to Life through our sales or donations will be able to help fund this highly valuable resource supporting those living with cancer..
